It seems in all of my cooking at present, deep fried is the king! I had an Argentine visitor tonight who asked for Churros... my dodgy Spanish translated this as doughnuts, while her and SWMBO were out getting supper, I knocked up a doughnut batch to prove.. only to find that Churros are these...

turned out all right, the tin lids were happy as was SWMBO.. my Argentine friend was well impressed especially after the doughnuts came out as well!
