I've been banned from making chutney, the OH reckons he can smell it in the house til Christmas. I have a good supply from the WI, and I'll pass on the beetroot recipe for those with more tolerant husbands.
On the subject of chillies, I saved a bowl full of seeds from a variety I've cooked over the past months and I've got a nice tray full in the green house ready to pot on. I've never grown them before so I'm intrigued. Talking of the greenhouse I have cucumbers galore, I'll be filling a wheelbarrow soon with them, any ingenius ways to used them other than the usual salad?
