A speed-read through the thread indicates no tips on how to wash away the green husks, after the mungers have finished sprouting. Or did I miss it. Some time back, I did one batch, fought with the husks, and opted to buy the sprouts already washed and clean at the local food store.
Hi Ken D When I tried growing Mung beans I found the same problems I also found them bitter even when I washed them out twice a day with fresh cold water like you say its not worth the agro when you can buy them cheap in the local store
