Cronuts

Postby denty632 » Tue Jun 11, 2013 10:43 am

So I was at work listening to the world service, as you do, when I heard a piece on cronuts. Never heard of them? Read

http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/ ... t-doughnut

So I have found a recipe for quick croissants

http://theboywhobakes.co.uk/2012/05/20- ... ant-dough/

And a subsequent recipe for cronuts or fauxnuts...

http://theboywhobakes.co.uk/2013/06/cronuts/#more-1814

Dough on last prove in the fridge right now, I will let you know how we get on.

Cheers

BTW the boy who bakes blog/site is also excellent!

Mind. Blown. It's like everything good about desert put in a photo.

Hmm. Rum creme filling.

Hmm. Caramelized doce de leite with orange essence filling.

Hmm. Vanilla sugar and raisin filling.

Straight whipped cream and candied lemon peel.
Chip the glasses and crack the plates!
