Vacuum chamber sealers

Considering purchasing one of these but would like to hear of any experiences good or bad that anyone may have had.
I'm Too cheap to buy store made sausages, but spent way too much on equipment.

I am trying to compare prices for a unit in the U.K. to those available in Canada. I'd appreciate it if someone could give me an idea on pricing over there and their opinion on the cost of them.
