I'm afraid they're gone. I type so slowly that the post function has "timed" out on me. If I wish to type a long message, I've done it in Word then copy and paste to the forum. If you don't have any pictures attached, you can "save draft" then come back to it in the user control panel.

There's something when someone else posts as you write yours. I've clicked the notification of the other person's post thinking that it was the submit button for mine, much to my annoyance.

It's amazing how short a post can become when it's written a second time!

Still happening from my kindle, & am repeatedly having to log back in within a minute sometimes... thus losing "words"

I've toned down my forum use elsewhere so cannot comment, but the logging in, ..& again Tec has ratcheted up so am guessing something's afoot.

We've made no changes to the forum regarding timeouts or anything else on our end, so I'm curious why this is happening to you.

Auto log in, 2x this morning allows me to type out post, hit enter & it loops to the log in page, then afterwards the written type is gone.

Still using kindle, ..ah well.

The software is 3rd party Gus. I don't think that there's much that anyone here can do to alter the way it works. I do sympathise with you though; it must be very annoying.

Maybe compose the post offline and then just copy and paste to post it?

it simply (more often than not) loops me round when submitting a written message to the log in page once more, then my post is lost.

My only chance is to save EVERYTHING as a draft copy, which I encountered problems with last night also.
but there lies the chance.

It's usually to do with the browser, so I'd advise trying a different one and seeing if that helps.

If it's a Kindle Fire you're using, try this - http://www.technipages.com/kindle-fire- ... ternatives
