Question on Sodium Erithorbate...

Postby ferincr » Thu Sep 12, 2019 9:47 pm

Can anyone tell me how long is good for and what is the best way to store it????

I know it is very cheap but I can't get it where I live and since the amounts used are so insignificant it tends to last a long long time.

I have almost a full container that it's been seating in a kitchen cabinet for few years and I don't know if it still good to use. It does not have a best before date either.

It just says store in a cool dry place but where I live is quite humid so things tends to absorb humidity (specially if it is something like this that lasts a long time)

It looks like the color is a bit darker than I remember when fresh but I can't be sure so if anybody has some advice on how you store yours I'll appreciate it.
Thanks,
Fernando

If it is kept cool and dry there is not much that can happen to it. Mine's two to three years old.
